The VWD Awning Bunk Window is a tilt-out van bunk window that allows excellent ventilation for your camper van.

This bunk window is an easy-to-install flat awning crank-out window that features a removable screen and measures 34-3/4" long and 11-3/4" tall. The window is crafted with solar privacy glass and features an upgraded 3M UV-coated foam seal for increased longevity and a more reliable weather-tight seal compared to competitive models.

The awning tilts out 3", allowing air to flow through the massive 31-1/4" x 8-1/4" opening enabling some of the best ventilation for a bunk window.

First time installing

So nervous cutting into my van for the first time. I was worried about sealing and templates and fitting right. This product took all the guesswork out of it. Fits perfectly, easy enough to install, take your time. I would highly recommend this product. Even if you have never done this before. Lots of Helpful YouTube tutorials. Installed in a day.

Hi Debi - Those windows have a one-year warranty, so if it seems like they have a defect, email us a short video clip of the leakage (you can use a hose simulating gentle rain, not high direct pressure) and we can help determine if that's the case.

Do these have removable screens? All three leak and I want to access the gaskets around the window.

Hi Debi - Yes, the screens are removable. However, if your window leaks it is likely to be a problem with how the clamp ring is sealing the window opening, there may be rough edges/burrs on the window opening that are preventing the window from sealing properly (if this is a problem you've seen right after install).

I am looking to put this in a truck sleeper. It is a 1/16” aluminum skin. What all would I need to install it?

Hi Brad - This should be the same install process as for a van, you'll just need a cutting tool and some touch-up paint for the opening. However, you may want to be very careful that the screws for the clamp ring don't penetrate the outside skin of the vehicle, measure the total depth carefully before you insert the screws. You may need to use shorter screws or construct an inner frame.

Can this go on Ram Promaster 159WB behind the passenger slider door with clearance to open slider door when window is open

Hi Amanda - Yes, it's possible to install an AW3310 window in that position on a ProMaster 159"WB and still have clearance for the window to be opened even with the sliding door open, but the window would have to be installed far to the rear in the factory window cutout.

We are installing the fabric now, and it’s working very well for us. We really like just having to do one gluing step. Corners are harder to do because of the thickness, so we can’t fold two layers together. But it’s easier to avoid wrinkles on the flat surfaces.
