Looking for an opening camper window for your Ford Transit camper van? The modern, stylish AM Auto Ford Transit Passenger Side Sliding Door-Half Slider Screened Window (FT14-RS1-FHSS P) is designed to fit the factory window cutout on Ford Transit van models. This sleek single-pane glass window has solar privacy glass bordered by a black ceramic frit, with an inset sliding glass panel with a clean matte black interior frame. The panel has a push-button latch and a removable sliding screen.

Note: These windows are large and can only be shipped via truck freight. These windows are shipped from AM Auto and cannot be picked up from the manufacturer. If you cancel your order after your windows have shipped, you will pay the shipping costs plus a 30% restocking fee.

The AM Auto Ford Transit Passenger Side Sliding Door Half-Slider Screened Window (FT14-RS1-FHSS P) meets the following specifications:

  • Single-pane glass automotive window with sliding panel and removable sliding screen, locking latch
  • Designed to fit 2015+ Ford Transit 130" WB, 148" WB, and 148" WB extended-body medium- and high-roof vans. Does not fit low-roof vans.
  • Manufactured by AM Auto
  • Solar privacy glass with 17% tint (also known as "factory tint"), matches Ford's privacy glass option and conforms to AS3 standard
  • Meets European and North American standards, tested and certified to ECE R43 and North American (US DOT FMVSS 205/Transport Canada CMVSS 205) standards 
  • 1-year warranty.

Note: This is a bonded (glue-in) window, which requires surface primer and urethane adhesive for installation.

            Qty: 1-2 tubes for small and medium size windows.

            Qty: 2 tubes for large windows.

            CRL Car Window Primer

            Qty: 1, 3.4 oz Primer bottle for 4 large windows and 2 small windows.

            Qty: 2, 3.4 oz Primer bottles for 6-8 windows(full window set).

            good product but template would have been helpful

            This was our first experience installing windows in a Ford Transit. We are generally happy with these windows so far. However, it would have been VERY helpful if the product included templates for cutting the opening in the side of the van.

            Transit half slider.

            Both of the half sliders I bought leak water. I wouldn’t recommend.

            I installed this fan on a previously owned fifth wheel camper and it was a great addition. Used it to move warm air out on hot days and used a down draft with the lid closed to just move air around for a comfortable sleep.             Thank you for reaching out. We received our window and the shipping was great and easy but when we received it, it’s the wrong size. My maintenance person told me he put in the VIN number so I’m not sure how it could be the wrong size but how do I send it back and get the correct

            This mesh is not as harsh and scratchy as Hypervent. It is softer and a bit thinner but still pushes well on the mattress.             We put the Rainer Floor with the 2tec2 flooring in our 2023 Sprinter 170. Both items were cut perfectly and glued down flat. We’ve had no squeaks or movement from the flooring or subfloor over the last 2 years. Clean up is as simple as a vacuum or sweep and water beads up on the 2tec2 and doesn’t...We put the Rainer Floor with the 2tec2 flooring in our 2023 Sprinter 170.             It worked perfectly for my situation. The cheaper option is to buy a 200$ roll, but I’m not sure that would even be enough. The extra cost to know im getting what I need and the countless hours it saved by not having to cut and fit each piece was well worth the cost of this kit.             Unfortunately my home was destroyed in the recent Altadena fires and my window vents were returned to sender by UPS. I contacted customer support and explained my situation and was told that they would ship them to me at my new address but I haven’t received them. Hopefully they will arrive soon

            We are installing the fabric now, and it’s working very well for us. We really like just having to do one gluing step. Corners are harder to do because of the thickness, so we can’t fold two layers together. But it’s easier to avoid wrinkles on the flat surfaces.

            Love the extra protection these fender flares provide on my Metris. Also, they look fantastic IMO. If you're super OCD, you might not like the way the edges of the flares do not mate up with the body work of your van as the double sided 3M tape makes them raised about a 1/16th of an inch. If you want the seat to swivel this is the way to do it.

Once on it held the hood up so the other side was easy, In use it makes lifting the hood easy compared to before. I like the kit and am glad I got it and installed it - a little overpriced but definitely worth it.
