I bought the kit and watched the video then had the instructions available on my iPad while I installed the struts. Installation went smoothly except for the first strut - it was a little long and it was very hard for me to flex the hood up enough to get it on. Once on it held the hood up so the other side was easy, In use it makes lifting the hood easy compared to before. I like the kit and am glad I got it and installed it - a little overpriced but definitely worth it.
