The Dometic Heki Mini Plus RV Rooflight is a compact and sturdy tilting RV skylight that perfectly fits the bill: it's very simple to operate, and with an included retractable blackout blind on one side and a retractable fly screen on the other side, it's a versatile solution.
The Heki Mini Plus opens in three positions with the easy adjusting lever: completely open, half-open and bad weather position. No water can splash inside when the acrylic dome is in bad weather position.

Lil wanderer built w/ rooflight
My squaredrop builder agreed to install this vent in with a scouts honor to seal it every year. Fast forward to pick up day for the camper he now LOVES this and wants to offer it to his clients as an upgrade. I’m looking forward to camping with my little can in 2023.
Dometic Heki Mini Rooflight
We really like this for it's versatility. We use it in conjunction with our Maxx air and the air move moment is wonderful. The bug screen and shade are wonderful. No bugs get through. It is easy to use. The one drawback is it is very loud when driving. We had it professionally installed so that should not be the issue.

Wonderful Skylights
Items were well packaged and delivered promptly. I highly recommend Campervan HQ for their great communication and steller service. As for the skylights, for the price they can't be beat! I used two side by side with a 2" gap between the decorative face plates rather then buying the slightly larger and much more expensive Heki Midi. Overall the two openings combined are larger and the light coming in is amazing! With no other cargo area windows yet, it feels fully lit and inviting during the day. Installation was straightforward and it is held on using the interior plate as a clamp around the roof. I made a single mounting frame out of 1 by 2 PVC boards for both windows and sealed with butyl tape (to build up the ridge gaps on the roof) and less than a single tube of Sikaflex for both. Two rainstorms and a good old-fashioned hose down test, no leaks. The bug screen/blackout curtains also work very well. The blackout curtains allow a very minimal amount of light in, which will probably decrease as I finish off the ceiling. This model also has a seal for the window, so no whistling while you drive. There is one locking middle opening position which is really nice and two other useful positions; watertight and slightly open or about 70% escape-through-the-roof mode. I have had no issue with rain coming in in either the low or middle position, but I leave it in the low rain-proof position when not in the vehicle. I installed these in a 2008 Sprinter 2500 Extended Cargo Van.
