Key Features: CRL Ford Transit 130/148" WB Passenger Side Sliding Door Vented Window (FW293R)
This CRL Ford Transit 130/148"WB Passenger Side Sliding Door Vented Window (FW293R):
- Fits 2015+ Ford Transit 130/148"/148"EXT WB models
- Has a 28% dark gray factory tint
- Has a bottom crank-out vented panel with a detachable screen
- Has a clamp (trim) ring, so does not require an adhesive, primer, or sealant
- Uses tempered glass for maximum safety and strength
- Is tested to ANSI Z26.1 and FMVSS 205 safety standards
- Requires template to be made for cut hole(see bottom of page)
When mounting these windows in your Ford Transit van:
- If you can, cut the openings with a center-blade shear, rather than a jigsaw - this will cut an opening that may be less ragged, produce less debris, and produce less hammering on the sheet metal of the van.
- Make sure you paint the cut edges of the new window opening - if you skip this step, moisture can rust out the edges of the window mounting.
- IMPORTANT: these windows clamp in place - ensure you do not use power tools on the inner trim ring screws, use hand tools to tighten these.

Here are a couple of videos that describe how to install an FW293R Ford Transit sliding door window.
Installation Notes: CRL Ford Transit 130/148"WB Passenger Side Sliding Door Vented Window (FW293R)
Typically, factory glass is installed the same as VWD and AMA bond-in windows, where they follow the factory stamp, rather than creating a template for a clamp ring type window. CRL's clamp-in cuthole requirements is a little narrower on the FW293R. If the factory window was installed first, then the CRL window will not install properly, leaving a gap in the top left corner.

CR Lawrence sliding door window
A fairly quick and easy DIY project. Clamp ring makes for a great template. The videos here are helpful to see the process. Straightforward. The window looks great and allows for some extra ventilation.
side sliding door vent window
This is the first time purchasing these windows
Good window
Just installed the window, it looks good and was easy to install. We haven't taken it out on the road yet, we are still in the build process.
The window was fine
The installation was good untill you have to figure out some spacer to fill the qtr inch gap between the ring and frame ..ON Transit vans the slider has two layers of sheet metal,Hence having a gap to figure out how to fill ?? What a pain and took what should be a simple installation and made it into more trouble and more time
Ford Transit 130/148"WB Passenger Side Sliding Door Vented Window
This is a high quality window. I have just completed a 1600 mile trip, with no issues on the window. Went thru some heavy rain, inside remained dry. The window solves a visibility issue with the cargo van. Difficult to come to an intersection and check traffic to the right. The passenger window just does not give enough visibility
