Sturdy wiring! Ask me how I know...
This was a replacement for our previous Maxx fan which was damaged due to a "senior moment" I had... I had removed the fan from the van roof to run wiring for a rear view camera. Well, I forgot to replace the attachment screws! Doh! A sever bump at highway speeds and the fan bounced out of the roof, and was dangling over the rear of the van secured only by the pair of power wires to the fan! The circuit board was dislodged but was able to "bungee" the fan in place until I could secure it with new screws. It was still water tight. Anyway, it's a great fan and I was pleasantly surprised to learn the old remote also works with the new fan :)
