A few years ago Owl Vans pioneered the first wheel designed specifically for Mercedes Sprinter adventure vans. That wheel, the Talon, was a runaway success and has become one of the most trusted wheels in the industry. They also know how subjective wheels are and they wanted to offer more options of their Sprinter-specific line. What makes Owl's wheels so popular is their massively increased load rating, dual valve stems and 30mm offset (which widens the track of the van).

Owl Vans Mojo Sprinter Wheel Features

Load Capacity - With the massive weight of modern Sprinter camper van builds we felt it was time to build a wheel that was lightweight but also drastically increased the load-carrying capacity of the wheel. In basic terms, we wanted something stronger that could take the abuse of a 10,000-pound van pounding the dirt offroad and on. Here are some specs:

  • Owl Mojo - 4200 lbs (Mojo wheel weight 32 lbs)
  • BR Barstow - 2700 lbs   (Wheel weight 32 lbs)
  • BR Arsenal - 2600 lbs (Wheel weight 32 lbs)
  • Method 701 - 3600 lbs   (Wheel weight 28 lbs)

Offset - The offset of a wheel in basic terms is how much it protrudes from the sides of the van. All Sprinter wheels have a positive offset, and the lower the number the farther the wheels will stick out the side of the van. By having a wheel with a lower offset, you widen the track of your van. This means you also lower the center of gravity. This is a massive advantage when off-roading in a tall vehicle like a Mercedes Sprinter van.

Thank you for reaching out. We received our window and the shipping was great and easy but when we received it, it’s the wrong size. My maintenance person told me he put in the VIN number so I’m not sure how it could be the wrong size but how do I send it back and get the correct

Excellent underlayment for mattresses
This mesh is not as harsh and scratchy as Hypervent. It is softer and a bit thinner but still pushes well on the mattress. I showed it to another sailor and she is ordering yardage for her boat too. We put the Rainer Floor with the 2tec2 flooring in our 2023 Sprinter 170. Both items were cut perfectly and glued down flat. We’ve had no squeaks or movement from the flooring or subfloor over the last 2 years. Clean up is as simple as a vacuum or sweep and water beads up on the 2tec2 and doesn’t...We put the Rainer Floor with the 2tec2 flooring in our 2023 Sprinter 170. Time or Money?
It worked perfectly for my situation. The cheaper option is to buy a 200$ roll, but I’m not sure that would even be enough. The extra cost to know im getting what I need and the countless hours it saved by not having to cut and fit each piece was well worth the cost of this kit. We are installing the fabric now, and it’s working very well for us. We really like just having to do one gluing step. Corners are harder to do because of the thickness, so we can’t fold two layers together. But it’s easier to avoid wrinkles on the flat surfaces.

Love the extra protection these fender flares provide on my Metris. Also, they look fantastic IMO. If you're super OCD, you might not like the way the edges of the flares do not mate up with the body work of your van as the double sided 3M tape makes them raised about a 1/16th of an inch. The swivel is well made and works great. It came with no instructions but they are available on line. Thanks to the few that have done videos it was an easy install. If you want the seat to swivel this is the way to do it.

Once on it held the hood up so the other side was easy, In use it makes lifting the hood easy compared to before. I like the kit and am glad I got it and installed it - a little overpriced but definitely worth it.

good feel for faux leather
this fabric feels very soft. I used it to upholster cushions for our van, using a sailrite sewing machine. If you are careful, it is easy to sew, but you need to account for the stretch. I tested the fabric with tomato, red wine, soy sauce etc - and it all just wiped off with no stain at all!

Windows appear to be well built. Cardboard covering is not an exact sized template. Also the screws provided required predrilling which is challenging and if torx headed self tapping screws were provided the installation would be much easier.
