Introducing the Owl Vans Sprinter (2019+) Aluminum Expedition Tire Carrier. This unit is hands down the nicest tire carrier you can buy. Owl didn’t want to change the DNA of the carrier, which has made it one of the leading products in the industry. Owl did, however, want to make it lighter, stronger, and even more versatile. The all-new carrier features all tig welded aluminum frame that allows mounting of a 33" tire or a box (box mounting tabs sold separately). The Owl Vans Sprinter (2019+) Aluminum Expedition Tire Carrier mounts securely to the hinges and requires a single mounting hole to be added to the door. Don’t worry; it includes a mistake-free template and specialty step drillbit to make installation a breeze!

NOTE:

What Type Of Hinges Do I Have?


There are two types of hinges that come on the VS30 MB Sprinter (2019+) vans, 180˚ and the 270˚. Owl carriers require the 180˚ hinges or a set of our modified 270˚ hinges (sold separately). All Winnebago REVELs have the 180˚ hinges. To figure out what type of hinges you have there are a few easy options:

Hinge Comparison:
Look at the attached image. If you have holes in your hinges then you have the 180˚ hinges (top in the image).

If your doors open all the way and fold flat along the side of the van you have the 270˚ hinges.

Verify your hinges before ordering. Campervan HQ will not pay return shipping on mistaken orders. If you are unsure ask us! :)

Thank you for reaching out. We received our window and the shipping was great and easy but when we received it, it’s the wrong size. My maintenance person told me he put in the VIN number so I’m not sure how it could be the wrong size but how do I send it back and get the correct

Excellent underlayment for mattresses
This mesh is not as harsh and scratchy as Hypervent. It is softer and a bit thinner but still pushes well on the mattress. I showed it to another sailor and she is ordering yardage for her boat too. We put the Rainer Floor with the 2tec2 flooring in our 2023 Sprinter 170. Both items were cut perfectly and glued down flat. We’ve had no squeaks or movement from the flooring or subfloor over the last 2 years. Clean up is as simple as a vacuum or sweep and water beads up on the 2tec2 and doesn’t...We put the Rainer Floor with the 2tec2 flooring in our 2023 Sprinter 170. Time or Money?
It worked perfectly for my situation. The cheaper option is to buy a 200$ roll, but I’m not sure that would even be enough. We are installing the fabric now, and it’s working very well for us. We really like just having to do one gluing step. Corners are harder to do because of the thickness, so we can’t fold two layers together. But it’s easier to avoid wrinkles on the flat surfaces.

Love the extra protection these fender flares provide on my Metris. Also, they look fantastic IMO. If you're super OCD, you might not like the way the edges of the flares do not mate up with the body work of your van as the double sided 3M tape makes them raised about a 1/16th of an inch. Once on it held the hood up so the other side was easy, In use it makes lifting the hood easy compared to before. I like the kit and am glad I got it and installed it - a little overpriced but definitely worth it.

good feel for faux leather
this fabric feels very soft. I used it to upholster cushions for our van, using a sailrite sewing machine. If you are careful, it is easy to sew, but you need to account for the stretch. I tested the fabric with tomato, red wine, soy sauce etc - and it all just wiped off with no stain at all!
